Pluto was a boat belonging to the artist’s father. Through a series of public events, participants were invited to look at a photograph of Pluto and reconstruct from imagination the unseen parts of the vessel using clay. 250 of these small clay models were exhibited alongside a 22 foot/11 tonne rammed earth boat, which was rammed in collaboration with members of the public through a long, dark and stormy week in October.
